Who we are

Kujua Point is a professional learning and transformation institution based in Mombasa, Kenya, serving learners across Africa and the diaspora. For any question about this notice, contact us at hello@kujuapoint.com.

What we collect and why

We only collect information you deliberately give us through a form on this site. We do not buy personal data, and we do not build profiles of visitors.

  • Priority list and newsletter: your email address, optionally your name, the page you signed up from, and the date you gave consent. Used to tell you when enrolment opens.
  • Contact and support enquiries: your name, email, optional phone number, subject and message. Used to answer you and to keep a record of the conversation.
  • Information session registration: your name, email, optional phone, country, role and question. Used to register you and send joining details.
  • Corporate enquiries: your organisation, name, work email, optional phone, team size and stated training need. Used to respond to the enquiry.
  • Programme applications: contact details, professional background, programme choice, written answers about your motivation and readiness, and your acceptance of the student ethics commitment. Used to assess your application.
  • Student portal accounts: your name, email, a hashed password, and your learning records including lesson progress, assignments and practice log entries.

Technical information

Our servers record a coarse network prefix of your IP address (for example 196.201.214.0/24 rather than the full address), the page requested, and the time. This is used to detect abuse and to enforce rate limits. It is not used to identify you.

Optional analytics cookies are set only if you accept them in the banner. If you decline, no analytics script is loaded at all. The session cookie used when you sign in to the student portal is strictly necessary and carries no tracking function. See our cookie notice.

Who else sees your data

We use a small number of service providers to operate the site. Each processes data only on our instruction:

  • Our hosting provider, which runs the application and stores its logs.
  • Our managed PostgreSQL database provider, which stores the records above.
  • Our transactional email provider, which delivers confirmations and password reset messages.
  • Google Analytics, only where you have accepted analytics cookies.

The current list of named providers is maintained in our internal processor inventory and is available on request. We do not sell personal information.

How long we keep it

  • Priority list entries: until you unsubscribe, or three years after the last contact.
  • Enquiries and support tickets: two years after resolution.
  • Applications: three years from the decision, so we can answer questions about a past application.
  • Student records: for the duration of your enrolment and seven years afterwards, so certification can be verified.
  • Server logs: 30 days.

Your choices

You can ask us to:

  • Send you a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correct anything that is wrong.
  • Delete your information, where we are not required to keep it.
  • Stop sending you marketing email — every marketing message includes a one-click unsubscribe link.

To make any of these requests, contact hello@kujuapoint.com. We will respond within 30 days.

Children

Our programmes are designed for working adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
