Draft pending legal review

This document is a working draft prepared by the engineering team to describe how the website actually operates. It has not been reviewed by a qualified legal practitioner and is not yet in force.

Strictly necessary cookies

One cookie is set only after you sign in to the student portal. It holds a random session identifier, is marked HttpOnly and Secure so it cannot be read by scripts, and it is deleted when you sign out. Without it, signing in is not possible, so it is not subject to consent.

Optional analytics cookies

If you press Accept in the banner, Google Analytics is loaded and sets cookies that help us understand which pages are useful. IP anonymisation is enabled and advertising features are switched off.

If you press Decline, no analytics script is loaded and no analytics cookie is set. Your choice is remembered in your browser's local storage so we do not keep asking.

Changing your mind

Clearing your browser storage for this site removes your saved choice, and the banner will appear again on your next visit. You can also block cookies entirely in your browser settings; the site will continue to work.
